BURNER: Toronto's loud-quiet-loud noise rock quartet, blending 90s chaos with relentless modern fury.
BIO
Burner is a Toronto-based "noise quartet" that blends the raw energy of post-hardcore with the experimental textures of post-punk, grunge revival, and nu-metal. Drawing influences from underground alt-rock pioneers and 90s alternative bands, their music delivers a thrilling sonic experience that’s both chaotic and deeply cathartic. Their latest album, Become Nothing, is a bold exploration of heavy guitar riffs, fuzz-drenched textures, and intense, emotionally charged vocals. With live performances described as nothing short of electrifying, Burner captures the essence of modern underground rock while keeping the rebellious spirit of the 90s alive. Perfect for fans of Show Me the Body, Metz, and Life in Vacuum, Become Nothing is a captivating ride that demands to be experienced in full. Whether you're tuning in late at night for some introspection or cranking up the volume to let loose, Burner offers a powerful blend of noise, grit, and authenticity.

OUTTATHECOUNT
Burner
Burners single “OUTTATHECOUNT” is a song about leaving all your stress, relationships, and BS behind, putting it all to an end and not looking back. As dark and negative as that all sounds, the song has a real upbeat, fun, punk sound with a bass line that's almost impossible not to groove to. The music video for “OUTTATHECOUNT”, filmed and edited by Kaleb Shelton and the bands bass player Amy Praught, takes place at Toronto’s Exhibition GO train station and at a local dive bar called Houndstooth. In the video you see Burner playing a wild show on the main floor of Houndstooth, as well as the band playing in the rehearsal space in the basement of the bar. You'll also see the lead singer, Deshaun Molloy, walking around the Exhibition GO train station with some packed bags heading to the train platform to leave the city after saying his goodbyes. The energy of the band and their peers have a good time at Houndstooth is the perfect vibe to match the fun sound of the track and the goodbye forever lyrics are perfect for the visuals of Deshaun packed and on his way.
